Join us at AVAC® for a FREE workshop for parents of pre-teens and teens by "Emerging Teenagers" Thrane Jensen and Courtney Smith Kramer.

RSVP is required.

The "Awkward Project" is a research endeavor to help parents of pre-teens and teens understand that they're not alone in feeling the awkwardness in the questions their kids are curious about at this age. The curiosity that comes out of their mouths at this age are sometimes surprising, embarrassing, and also completely normal… and learning how to “be” in these situations, with intimacy and compassion, can go miles for the relationship between parents and their kids.

Pioneered by Thrane Jensen and Courtney Smith Kramer – both parents of a pre-teen and a teen themselves – The Awkward Project was inspired as part of an intensive 10-month Leadership Program they are taking through The Coaches Training Institute (CTI).

The research and insights gathered from this and other workshops will be leveraged to write a “Kids book for parents” on the same topic.

More on this exciting project can be read here.
