Erika is certified in the Esalen® modality and advanced therapeutic massage and body work through The Body Therapy Center in Palo Alto and has been practicing at AVAC since 2003. Using deep tissue sculpting, techniques from Shiatsu massage, myofascial release techniques, and facilitated stretching, Erika looks to alter chronic tension patterns. Also dedicated to the practice and teaching of yoga (including at AVAC), Erika helps clients to live more fully in their bodies.

Pre-natal: A relaxing massage designed to safely relieve the aches and pains of pregnancy.
Sports: Specialized massage technique can enhance an athlete’s conditioning and performance, reduce injury potential, and aid in injury rehabilitation. Athletes of all levels can benefit from Sports Massage.
Swedish: Relaxing combination of massage techniques used to help decrease aches and pains created by stress, injuries, and postural imbalances.
Trigger Point Therapy: A trigger point is a focus of hyperirritability within muscle fiber. Finding and extinguishing trigger points eliminates associated pain and allows muscles to work more efficiently.
