Jeff Griffith-Jones has been the General Manager of Operations since 2012. Jeff began his career in recreational aquatics in 2001, rising in the ranks at AVAC Swim School®, the third largest single-site swim school in the United States. As a program manager, he oversaw lifeguards, swim teachers, program design, risk management, and customer service. After earning a Bachelor’s of Science in Commercial Recreation from San Jose State University, Jeff expanded his career with a variety of positions: Safety and Training Specialist for Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District, Owner at South Bay Trekking Company, volunteer ski guide for Environmental Traveling Companions, and Lifeguard Instructor Trainer for the Red Cross. Jeff’s passions are leadership, outdoor adventure, and fitness. His wife, two sons, and two big dogs keep him busy on the trails and are regularly with him training for triathlons.
