Programming For Peak Performance
A program designed for juniors ages 16-22 years old who have a desire to learn the foundational skills of specified program design. Focuses on solidifying concepts & techniques from weightlifting 101 & serve as both an exercise & an introduction to proper programming of powerlifting, hypertrophy training, & strength & conditioning/athletic training. Held on Court 6.
7-weeks • 2x per week • Starting January 30
Mondays & Wednesdays 3 - 4 pm

Weekly Focus:
Week 1: SPECIFIED WARM-UPS
Mon/Tues- Learning proper warm-ups for a standard weightlifting/ powerlifting program
Wed/Thurs- Learning proper warm-ups for a standard athletic/dynamic workout
Week 2: POWERLIFTING
Mon/Tues- Understanding Powerlifting programing and completing a Squat and Bench Press powerlift exercise
Wed/Thurs- Understanding Powerlifting programing and completing a Deadlift session with accessory movements
Week 3: POWERLIFTING
Mon/Tues- Squat and Bench Press powerlifting session
Wed/Thurs- Deadlift & powerlifting session
Week 4: HYPERTROPHY
Mon/Tues- Chest session hypertrophy and accessory based with programming explanations
Wed/Thurs- Back session hypertrophy and accessory based with programming explanations
Week 5: HYPERTROPHY
Mon/Tues- Leg session hypertrophy and accessory based with programming explanations
Wed/Thurs- Shoulders and arms session hypertrophy and accessory based with programming explanations
Week 6: STRENGTH & CONDITIONING
Mon/Tues- Upper body power concepts and programming with upper body conditioning exercises
Wed/Thurs- Lower body power concepts and programming with conditioning
Week 7: STRENGTH & CONDITIONING CONTINUED
