Since 1976, Almaden Valley Athletic Club has been a favorite destination for San Jose families. Throughout the years, the club's owners have consistently upgraded the equipment, programs & services to meet members' changing lifestyles. Almaden Valley Athletic Club (also referred to as “us”, “we”) operates the https://www.avac.us/ website (also referred to below as the “Site” or “Website”), hereinafter referred to collectively as the “Service(s)”. We take your privacy and information very seriously. To that end, we have this privacy policy to advise you of our rules on handling the information we receive through offering the Services. By accessing and using the Services of this Site, you also agree to our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. Children's Privacy We are a general audience site, and we do not direct any of our content specifically at children under 16 years of age. We understand and are committed to respecting the sensitive nature of children’s privacy online. Children 16 or under cannot create an account through our site. We do provide services in person to children under the age of 16, such as child care and swimming lessons. For those services we require the written consent of a parent or guardian before a minor may use any in person facilities or services. In the case we discover that a child under 16 has provided us with personal information without parental consent, we immediately delete the information.
