For as long as I can remember, movement has been an important part of my life. I have danced, done aerobics, pilates, martial arts, & yoga. I’ve also experienced a lot of injuries, & worked through a lot of pain as I recovered from them. Currently, I’m passionate about helping people move toward more strength & wellness in ways that are sustainable and nurturing. I have found that softer practices, such as yin & restorative yoga, are an effective complement to more vigorous exercise. As we give the body (and the mind) rest, we create reservoirs of energy that allow us to return to our daily lives refreshed & renewed. These practices are also great for healthy & graceful aging, as we focus on the health of the joints & maintaining range of motion in the limbs. I look forward to seeing you in class as we work together to create a practice that is tailored to your unique needs.
